Dear Potential Volunteer

Open Door Youth Counselling Ltd.

Would you like the opportunity to:-

  •  Work with young people age 12-26 in a well established Youth Counselling Service.

•  Provide one-to-one counselling (both short and long-term).

•  Receive free clinical counselling supervision on a regular monthly basis.

•  Have regular on-going personal and professional development training.

•  The training model is Person Centred.

If the above is of interest to you, and you are interested in undertaking our current Fast Track Training please see below -

However to qualify for this you will need to meet the following criteria:-

1. That your interest is in Training and working within the Person Centred Model of Therapy.
2. That you have a passion for working in particular with young people.
3. That you are willing to commit to an intensive Training Programme.
4. That you will agree to undertake Personal Therapy with a Person Centred Counsellor throughout the Training Course.
5. That you will engage in a selection day, whereby Open Door will reserve the right to say if we feel you are not ready at this point to join the Training  Programme.
6. You have a Certificate or Diploma in Person Centred Counselling.
7. You have substantial experience of working with young people
8. Attend an Information Session.

IN HOUSE WORKSHOPS

PSYCHIATRIC SYSTEMS, ASSESSMENT & DIAGNOSIS, MEDICATION

The workshop will be in 2 parts, taking place on:-

Wednesday 21 st and 28 th September 2011, 6pm- 9pm

The fee is £50 for both workshops; please make cheque payable to Open Door Youth Counselling Ltd.

To reserve a place we would require a deposit of £20, please send this to:-
